# User logout

Use this page to end an Entrust Identity as a Service user session with the Authentication API.

Send the authenticated user's IDaaS JWT to invalidate that session.

- **Path:** `/api/web/v1/authentication/logout`
- **Content type:** `application/json`

## Example request header

Authorization: Bearer <idaas-jwt>
```

This endpoint does not require a request body. A successful logout returns HTTP `200` with an empty response body.
