# Integrate API applications

This section explains how to integrate IDaaS APIs with your application account. Each API lets you add specific IDaaS functionality to your application so you can perform supported actions without navigating to your IDaaS account.

After you create an API application in IDaaS, configure that API for your application account.

See [IDaaS integrations](/docs/applications-and-sso/identity-as-a-service-integration-guides.md) for instructions to integrate IDaaS with Splunk SIEM and for PSD2 compliance.

## Topics in this section

[📄️Administration API Use the IDaaS Administration REST API to perform administrative actions on users and authenticators without signing in to the Administrator Portal. IDaaS provides a JSON credentials file that your integration uses for authentication.](/docs/applications-and-sso/manage-applications/integrate-api-applications/integrate-administration-api.md)

[📄️Shared secret If needed, you can regenerate the shared secret for Administration API applications. If you regenerate the shared secret, you must reconfigure the API application with the newly generated shared secret in order for authentications to be successful.](/docs/applications-and-sso/manage-applications/integrate-api-applications/regenerate-api-shared-secret.md)

[📄️Authentication API Add an Authentication API application to integrate your application with the IDaaS authentication APIs. After you configure the application, users enter IDaaS challenge responses in your application interface, and your application sends those responses to IDaaS to authenticate users and grant access.](/docs/applications-and-sso/manage-applications/integrate-api-applications/integrate-authentication-api.md)
