Manage Magic Links
Use this section to configure and operate Magic Links in Entrust IDaaS, and to choose the right implementation pattern for your users and applications.
Magic Links let users complete registration, password reset, or authentication by selecting a single-use, time-limited link sent by email. They can reduce friction for onboarding and recovery flows when configured with the appropriate security controls.
Use this section as follows:
- Start with the solution guide if you need help choosing where and when to use Magic Links.

Magic Links solution guide
Magic Links in IDaaS let users sign in or confirm email ownership using a single-use, time-limited link delivered by email instead of a password. This guide explains how Magic Links work, the problems they solve, when to use them, and how to integrate them with your existing IDaaS policies and authentication flows.
Configure Magic Links
A Magic Link allows a user to authenticate without entering a username or password. When enabled, the user receives an email with a Magic Link that they can use to authenticate. Magic Links are time-limited and single-use.
