Manage pass-through authenticator policies

Use this page to select which pass-through authenticator definition is active for pass-through authentication. The selected definition controls which connector request and response logic is used when IDaaS evaluates pass-through authenticator challenges.

Before configuring a pass-through authenticator policy, create a pass-through authenticator definition.

Configure pass-through authenticator policy​

  1. Click > Policies > Authenticators. The Authenticators page appears.
  2. Select Pass-through Authenticator. The Pass-through Authenticator page appears.
  3. From the Pass-through Authenticator Definition drop-down list, select the pass-through authenticator definition to use for API authentication.
  4. Click Save.

Validate your changes​

After you save, verify the following:

  1. The selected definition remains displayed after page refresh.
  2. Authentication flows that use pass-through authenticators call the expected external service behavior.
  3. Valid test requests succeed and invalid test requests fail based on the selected definition.
