# MacOS: Uninstall Device Agent

The Device Agent is not an application, so it cannot be uninstalled in the same way as applications. Instead, a script is provided to perform the necessary actions for uninstallation.

1. In a terminal window, enter the following commands:

   ```bash
   cd "/Library/Application Support/com.entrust.identity.mobile.device-agent"

       sudo ./uninstall.btr.sh
   ```

2. For versions earlier than 2.0.0, use the following commands:

   ```bash
   cd "/Library/Application Support/com.entrust.identity.mobile.btr"

       sudo ./uninstall.btr.sh
   ```

3. Delete the private key `com.entrust.identity.mobile.device-agent.btscreader` from the macOS System keychain.

4. Reboot the computer.
