Upgrade a Gateway Instance
Before upgrading a Gateway Instance, take a snapshot of the Enterprise Service Gateway image. In the event of a failure, the upgrade logs should be captured and the appliance rolled back to the snapshot. Once rolled back, reactivate the Gateway Instance following the instructions in Create and configure a Gateway.
Gateways created before 5.32 can only be upgraded to 5.32. After upgrading, no further updates are possible to older gateways.
To upgrade to a version later than 5.32, you must download the latest Gateway image file and register a new Gateway Instance. After registering the new Gateway Instance, you can delete the old Gateway Instance.
Upgrade a Gateway Instance
- Go to > Resources > Gateways. The Gateways page appears.
- Click next to the Gateway Instance you want to upgrade.
- Your Gateway Instance is upgraded to the new version.
You can view upgrade logs at /var/log/gateway_upgrade.log on your Virtual Machine or in /opt/entrust/gateway/enterprise_gateway_initialization.
