# Set up your account

To use IDaaS, you need to create or import your users and groups, set up authenticators, and add applications that users will authenticate to using IDaaS.

Attention

When creating a new IDaaS account, create another user and assign it a Super Administrator role. This will help to safeguard against complete account lockout.

## Firewall prerequisites

For IDaaS clients, including the Enterprise Service Gateway that connect to IDaaS, you must configure your firewall to allow connections to your IDaaS account. IDaaS uses HTTPS on port 443.

For TLS requirements that apply to clients communicating with IDaaS, including supported versions and cipher suites, see [System requirements](/docs/get-started/requirements.md).

## Set up your account with the Get Started Wizard

The first time you log in to your IDaaS account, you are logged in to the **Dashboard** page. A **Get Started** button appears to help you set up your IDaaS account.

- If you want IDaaS to help you through the account set up process, click Get Started.
- If you do not want to use the Get Started Wizard and create your account without the help of the wizard, click **Don't Show Again**. If you click this option, you will not see the **Get Started** button again.

### Set up your account using the Get Started Wizard

1. Click Get Started to start the **Get Started Wizard**. The **What would you like to protect?** dialog box appears.
2. Select what you want to protect and click **Next**. The **Where are your users coming from?** dialog box appears.
3. Select where your users come from and click **Next**. The **What Multi-Factor Authentication will your users log in with?** dialog box appears.
4. Select the required authenticator and click **Finish**.
